Solar eclipse
With the Moon being associated with femininity, the Sun is considered to have masculine energy. With the etymology of Sol in latin, other mythologies also have masculine solar deities: the Greek God Apollo and the Egyptian God Ra. The Sun is also associated with masculinity because it gives off a strong, fiery, protective, dependable and to some extent even harsh energy.
During a Solar Eclipse, there is a definite change in the vibration and frequency of energies on Earth. Our circadian rhythms are dependent on the rising and setting on the Sun and they are also controlled by our pineal gland - the gland responsible for the opening and awakening of our Third Eye. So when darkness falls due to a Solar Eclipse, besides feeling tired and lethargic, it can help activate the pineal gland which encourages the bringing of a spiritual awakening.

TIPS

The Solar Eclipse can also activate a dream like state. You can feel a bit "out of your body" and depleted. Doing grounding exercises may help:

Take a walk in nature. Feel the weight of your feet on the ground and connect to the Earth as you take each step. It's even more helpful if you walk barefoot on the grass.

Sit on the ground in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and feel the support of the Earth, then start visualizing roots coming out of your body and reaching into the ground. Breathe deeply and allow yourself to connect with the Earth.

Eating root vegetables and meditation can also provide relief.
